St Rose Of Lima Project
Budget: $50,000 – $55,000
At St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Houston, we were honored to partner with the school to enhance the usability and appearance of their outdoor recreational space. The goal was to replace a high-maintenance natural lawn with a durable, year-round solution that students could enjoy without the upkeep challenges.
Texan Landscape Group installed over 12,000 square feet of premium synthetic turf, transforming the school’s field into a vibrant, low-maintenance surface perfect for daily activities and school events. The turf selected offers a soft, realistic feel underfoot while holding up to high foot traffic and Houston’s changing weather conditions.
Proper functionality was just as important as aesthetics. We engineered and implemented a comprehensive drainage system beneath the field to prevent water pooling and extend the turf’s lifespan. This ensures the field remains safe and accessible even after heavy rain, reducing downtime and maintenance costs for school staff.
The result is a clean, reliable, and attractive green space that gives students more room to run, play, and stay active throughout the school year without the mud, mowing, or constant repairs of natural grass.
