Woodland St
Budget: $15,000 – $20,000
This meticulously designed project is in the Heights area of Houston. In this project, we transformed a conventional backyard into a stunning outdoor retreat.
This new backyard begins with a pathway laid with Blackstar gravel, which guides you to the centerpiece of the landscape—the large patio area. Here, Belgard pavers are arranged in a herringbone pattern, surrounded by a constrasting border that accentuates the patio perfectly.
Surrounding the patio, we have planted Japanese blueberry trees, chosen for their lush foliage and serene vibe, serving as the perfect focal plants to frame this outdoor haven. To ensure the beauty of these plantings lasts through the seasons, we integrated a new irrigation system, making the garden as low-maintenance as it is enchanting.
As dusk falls, the area transforms with carefully positioned landscape lighting, casting a warm glow that invites extended evenings outdoors. This lighting not only enhances safety but also highlights the architectural beauty of the Japanese blueberry trees and the intricate paver patterns, ensuring the space is as usable at night as it is during the day.
