Step by Step.
The sequence is deliberate — no phase begins before the previous one is signed off, and grade and drainage are settled before anything is built on top of them. Every decision is documented, so nothing is a surprise.

Consultation
Walk the property together. Sun and shade, grade, drainage, soil, access, how the family wants to use the yard, and the budget it has to fit.

Design
Develop the layout — terraces, structures, lawn, planting, and water — with materials, levels, and lighting resolved together rather than one at a time.

Planning & Permitting
Finalize selections, drainage and irrigation design, permitting and HOA submittals, and the construction documents the crews build from.

Construction
Demolition, grading and drainage, base preparation, hardscape, structures, turf or sod, planting, irrigation, and lighting — sequenced and supervised.

Completion
Final grade and clean-up, irrigation and lighting programming, a walkthrough of how to care for it, and support after handoff.

How long does a landscape project take?
It depends entirely on scope. A sod or artificial turf installation is usually measured in days, a patio or pergola in weeks, and a full outdoor living build with hardscape, structures, planting, and lighting in months. You get a schedule with the proposal, before anything starts.

What does landscaping cost in Houston?
Cost is driven by square footage, materials, how much grading and drainage the site needs, and access for equipment — so we do not quote a figure before seeing the property. The ranges published against each service are ballpark figures for a typical Houston project, useful for working out what is worth discussing and not a quote for yours. You get an investment range early in the design conversation and a detailed proposal before work begins.

Why does drainage keep coming up?
Houston sits on clay that holds water, and our rain arrives in volume. If grade and drainage are not designed first, turf stays soggy, pavers settle, and beds drown — so drainage is part of the design rather than a repair later.

Artificial turf or sod?
Sod is the right answer in real sun with irrigation in place. Artificial turf is the right answer in heavy shade, in dog runs, on slopes, and anywhere natural grass has already failed twice. We will tell you which one your yard actually supports.

Do you work with architects and home builders?
Yes. We coordinate with architects, builders, and pool contractors regularly, and starting the landscape design in parallel with construction means grade, drainage, and utilities get resolved once instead of twice.

What areas do you serve?
We primarily serve the Memorial corridor, River Oaks, Tanglewood, the Villages, Spring Branch, Spring Valley, The Heights, West University, Bellaire, Katy, and The Woodlands, along with adjacent parts of greater Houston.

Do you charge for design?
Yes. Design is real work, so it is priced as its own scope — Dream Design starts at $1,200 and Design Only starts at $2,500. Both include the same drawings — a 3D design, 2D construction drawings with measurements, material and supply details, a detailed planting schedule, lighting and irrigation plans, additional revisions, and our installation bid. Dream Design is the reduced rate for homeowners who intend to build with us.

What is covered after the project is finished?
Our workmanship, plus the manufacturer warranties on turf, pavers, lighting, irrigation, and structural materials, which we register in your name and hand over at closeout. Coverage periods and what maintenance keeps them in force are written into the agreement you sign before construction starts.
