01 — Overview

This backyard landscape renovation in Southside Place included several unique elements that the homeowner wanted to preserve and incorporate into the design.

Design Approach

Upon entering the backyard, you are greeted by a beautiful, massive oak tree. We designed the landscape to embrace this tree while ensuring it remains functional. Several entertainment features were added, such as a gas fireplace, a putting green, and a large artificial turf area.

Throughout the entire backyard, we maintained a consistent use of materials and a color scheme that matches the home’s existing look. Additionally, we installed native Texas shrubs that will provide vibrant colors during the springtime.

We completed the backyard landscape with elegant, modern landscape lighting, allowing the homeowners to enjoy this outdoor space both during the day and at night, ultimately enhancing their time spent outdoors.
