Swing or slide gate for my driveway?
Swing needs clear arc room and a level approach. Slide needs run-back space alongside the drive but handles slope and short driveways better. The grade and the space available decide it more often than preference does.
What happens to the gate in a power cut?
Every operator we install has a manual release, and we show you how to use it at handover. Battery backup is available and is worth specifying on a gate that is the only vehicle access to the property.
Is gate automation safe around children and cars?
